3.2 Recipes + Updated First Aid

Hey all – sorry for the long delay in posts!  I’ve been recovering from my trip and getting caught up on web site work.  We just put up the new 3.2 recipes for Jewelcrafting, Alchemy and Engineering.  Make sure you select “Test Realm” if you want to see just 3.2 recipes.  The items aren’t fully working yet because the WoWHead 3.2 data isn’t live, but everything is in place for when that happens.  All of the new recipes are there and the information should be current as of the most recent build.  No promises on the epic gem transmutes… we’re on the 3rd revision of mats for them rofl!

Also, I’ve updated our First Aid guide to include Lich King information as well as the recent change to trainers.  The First Aid recipe list has also been updated to match.  I’ll be spending the summer doing clean-up on the site while we have this lull in WoW action.  Hopefully 3.2 will come out soon and liven things up, eh?

let me be the first to say this,

I, for one, hope you had a decent trip, and have been looking forward to new posts!

Hi Kaliope, just completed the cooking quest for Artisan Cooking.

“To achieve Artisan status in Cooking, you’ll need to have 225 skill and be at level 35. You can then speak with Dirge Quikcleave in Gadgetzan and do his quest for Clamlette Surprise. This quest requires you to bring him 10 Zesty Clam Meat, 12 Giant Eggs and 20 Alterac Swiss. The easiest way to gather these items is to purchase all but the eggs. ”

This like first aid is learned from the Trainers and not the quest.

Bob: This is the exact reason I have all the guides targeted for revisions. Many changes have been made throughout WotLK that aren’t reflected in the guides. Most of them haven’t been updated since BC, that’s why there’s still some bad information in them. My top priority is always the recipe lists, the crafting guides tend to take a back seat. That plus they often require more work to update, such as releveling some or all of the profession (blech).

As this seems to be a general sort of post: Any news on how hard it is to get the Jeeves schematic if you’re not killing mechanicals in Ulduar?

  5. kaliope Says:

Ian: That’s one of the projects I’m hoping to flesh out later this week. There are a very few mechanicals outside Ulduar, one group being in Storm Peaks. For lowbies – Borean Tundra is the only option. There’s plenty of commentary on WoWHead regarding Storm Peaks, so I’m tackling the BT guys :)

If there’s much chance of getting it from the mechagnomes in Storm Peaks I might start doing that goblin daily from Argent Tourney again, but this time make a point of killing the gnomes rather than avoiding them. :-P
