Well once my partner in crime, Wildark, saw how handily my 70 rogue acquired the Green Winter Clothes recipe, he immediately proposed that we try to get it for our actual Tailoring toon - Fimbulwinter. Only problem? Fimbulwinter is a 37 mage. Personally, I saw no way to achieve this. Even if we use the disguise and waltz right past a bunch of Horde players, how is a level 37 going to avoid the guards? Luckily Wildark had a plan.
A few days ago I challenged my readers to confirm the plausibility of Alliance characters acquiring the Green Winter outfit recipe from the Horde vendors. No one took me up on that, but I decided that having my own level 70 rogue, I should attempt to infiltrate Orgrimmar myself. I didn’t actually believe this was a workable task, but I pushed onward regardless of the self-endangerment factor. The things I do for you people!
I noticed a couple of new things on the PTR this past week that don’t really qualify as a full post on their own. But I thought you guys might want the heads-up.
I started joining groups for the Mana Tombs with Krystella to gain faction with The Consortium. On my first trip there, I noticed an adamantite node that was not close to any mobs. This prompted a mental note to come back and investigate more closely for stealth farming purposes. Yesterday I went back and took notes on what I found. (more…)
My comment area is all abuzz (and by abuzz I mean - dang!!) with chatter about the supposed nerf of Slave Pens and Underbog. Considering how much noise this was generating I decided to investigate for myself and try to put the rumors to rest. (more…)
WOOT - SUCCESS!!! After my last foray into the Underbog I actually returned a second time yesterday and died probably a dozen times trying the get past the naga sentries. (more…)
Well I decided that the next exciting mission for Krystella should be stealth farming a dungeon. Since the Underbog is the only dungeon I know with herbs/ore, that’s where I went. Of course it helps that I am higher than most of the mobs in there too
